A Crash Course in Color Grading

Before digital photography has arrived, everybody was doing color grading no matter if they wanted it or not. Every film had its own character — and often these were artists who helped design each film’s unique colors. That’s why unprocessed digital photos often seem soulless and we often need to color grade them to achieve an artistic effect.
